Johnsburg reveals summer road projects

JOHNSBURG – After skipping road improvements last year, the village of Johnsburg is looking to repave 3.3 miles this year – one of the largest road programs in the village in a while, said Tim Hartnett, a village engineer with HR Green.

The Public Works Committee approved a work list of 14 roads in six subdivisions and the Prairie Commerce Center at its meeting Tuesday evening, capping its recommendation at $600,000 for engineering and construction.

The projects still require approval by the Johnsburg Village Board.
