No injuries in Cary house fire

Firefighters responded to a house fire in Cary Wednesday afternoon.

East Dundee, Algonquin-Lake in the Hills, and Cary fire departments responded to a house fire at 1430 Cary Algonquin Road.

Homeowner Ed Kilroy evacuated the house once he heard the fire alarms. He was not injured and there was no one else on the property.

The cause of the fire has not yet been determined. Kilroy said he believes the fire started in the center of the house, possibly near the bathroom.
