Mueller named director of St. Paul’s diaper bank

McHENRY – The Rev. Phyllis Mueller, a retired Presbyterian minister, is the new diaper bank director for St. Paul’s Episcopal Church.

She succeeds Larry Eils, who for several years led the community service founded in 2009. The ministry was initiated by the former rector of St. Paul’s, the Rev. James E. Swarthout.

The current priest-in-charge, the Rev. Lori Lowe, noted that last year the nonprofit organization distributed about 260,000 diapers to partner agencies to help children and adults who otherwise would not be able to afford them.
