Three beekeeping classes return

CRYSTAL LAKE –  Beekeeping classes are back at McHenry County College, covering modern beekeeping techniques, installing bee hives and raising queen bees.

The following classes are available:

• Beekeeping 101: Learn about bee biology, modern beekeeping techniques, construction of bee hives and how to acquire bees. The class is for those who have never kept bees. The class will be from 7 to 9:30 p.m. Mondays, Monday through March 4, in Room E119. Use course ID: NPG S38 002 when registering. The cost is $59.
