No injuries in Illinois freight train derailment
BELLWOOD – Authorities say several cars of a Union Pacific freight train coming from California have derailed in suburban Bellwood.
No injuries were reported in Sunday's derailment.
Union Pacific spokesman Tom Lange says eight refrigerated rail cars derailed and two leaked diesel fuel, but the leak has been contained and no waterways are affected.
