Business as usual

To the Editor:

The U.S. Constitution states, “Congress shall make no law respecting the establishment of religion or prohibiting the free exercise thereof ...”

If Hobby Lobby chooses to follow biblical principles as guidelines for the operation of its business, it should be able to do so. It should not be fined or forced to close its doors. It is protected by our Constitution.

Hobby Lobby is a well-established business and has thousands of employees. This is good for our economy. A large number of Hobby Lobby customers are crafters. They, in turn, participate in craft fairs and, therefore, generate another business.

The common-sense solution for Hobby Lobby is to leave it alone and let it continue to do business as usual.
