Marengo man dies in Boone County crash
A Marengo man died following a two-vehicle crash Monday in Caledonia, according to the Boone County Coroner’s Office.
Robert D. Butzow, 75, died from chest injuries sustained after his vehicle collided with a semi near Route 173 and Caledonia Road. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Butzow was traveling south on Caledonia Road at around 12:30 p.m. Monday when his vehicle entered the intersection at Route 173 and was struck by the eastbound semi.
