‘Monarchs and Meadows’ seminar scheduled Feb. 23
CRYSTAL LAKE – Last summer, did you observe a decline in the number of butterflies in your yard? Do you want to know what you can do to see more of them?
“Monarch Conservation: The Challenges Ahead” will be presented by Orley “Chip” Taylor, founder of the organization Monarch Watch and renowned professor of insect ecology at the University of Kansas, during The Wildflower Preservation and Propagation Committee’s 21st annual natural landscaping seminar.
The seminar, “Monarchs and Meadows,” will run from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Feb. 23 in the McHenry County College Luecht Conference Center, 8900 Route 14.
