Two women were transported to area hospitals following a three-car accident in unincorporated McHenry County near Richmond, according to the Richmond Township Fire Protection District.

Emergency crews were called to the area of Route 173 and Keystone Road at around noon today for a report of a three-car crash with injuries, fire officials said.

A pregnant woman was later transported to Aurora Memorial Hospital of Burlington, Wis.

Another woman was taken to Centegra Hospital — McHenry.

Their injuries were not considered life threatening.
