Chicago prison guard accused of bribery
CHICAGO — A 51-year-old guard at a federal prison in downtown Chicago has been indicted on bribery charges for allegedly breaking rules regarding inmate contraband.
The U.S. Attorney's office says Tony Henderson is charged with five counts of bribery in an indictment. A conviction carries a maximum 15-year prison term on each count.
The Portage, Ind., man has been a guard at the Metropolitan Correctional Center since 1996. He was placed on administrative leave in September.
