Empty promises

To the Editor:

While driving through McHenry and Crystal Lake on my way to work, I see signs, "Vote for Iron Mike, highway commissioner, reduce taxes."

If anyone believes that, then I have a bridge in Brooklyn I can sell them. People running for office will say anything to get elected. Another politician making empty promises he won't be able to keep.
