Ideal candidate

To the Letter:

I must confess that, while I always vote, I don't always know as much as I should about those running for office or the intricacies of the issues. In the April 9 election, however, I know exactly who I'll vote for as a trustee for McHenry County College and why. That individual is Molly Walsh, who for so many of us for so many years was the "face" of our community college.

Molly was the conference center coordinator between 1990 and 2008. If you attended veteran programs at the college, lectures at the conference center, or enjoyed one of the many bus tours, that was Molly's domain.

Her experience working at MCC plus her involvement with local nonprofit countywide organizations fostering environmental and civic betterment makes her an ideal candidate to govern the direction the college takes plus serve the taxpayers of McHenry County.

Having Molly Walsh as a McHenry County College trustee would be the smartest decision we make.
