Time for a change

To the Editor:

Four years of Linda Moore’s leadership resulted in more than $600,000 in legal fees and $6,000 in late fees. Bills were not paid; grants were lost due to ineptitude; help for the poor was reduced; and money was squandered and spent on trivial things. She is in court with everyone, including her family. It is time for a change.

Pam Fender is a highly qualified civic leader. A Huntley village trustee since 2005, Pam voted against tax increases and worked collaboratively to create marked improvements in the village. She is the founder of Huntley Fall Fest, president of Huntley Historical Society, an active member of her church, a Jaycee and the recipient of three community service awards.
