MCC offering classes 
to control life’s chaos

CRYSTAL LAKE – McHenry County College’s Continuing Education Department offers classes to help people get their life in order, including those who are returning to the workforce, interviewing for jobs or just want to organize household clutter.

The following classes are available:

• Back to Work – Strategies for Comeback Moms: Mothers wanting to return to their career or start a new venture can get answers to their questions and support to get job fulfillment. The class takes place from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Monday in Room A113. The cost is $25. Use course ID: NPL S38 002 when registering.

• Ready, Set, Interview: Impress an employer by showcasing your talents, asking your own set of questions and following up. Participants will practice these skill sets to make the most of job opportunities. The class meets from 9 a.m. to noon March 2 in Room D152. The cost is $29. Use course ID: NPL S28 003 when registering.

• Embracing Organized: Feeling overwhelmed by all the papers, children’s art projects and toys taking up space? Do you struggle with what to keep, what to toss and what to frame? This workshop will help you embrace and tame the chaos of your family and life. The class takes place from 6 to 7:30 p.m. March 7 in Room E105. The cost is $25.  Use course ID: NPL S47 003 when registering.

• Organizing Your Blended Family: Those who have merged two families and struggle to organize all the stuff, events, activities and personal opinions will learn what to keep and what to toss, or even where to start. The class takes place from 6 to 7:30 p.m. April 11 at MCC in Room E100. The cost is $25. Use course ID: NPL S48 004 when registering.
