Our view: Progress on new hospital
We’re pleased to see progress on Centegra Health System’s plans to build a new hospital in Huntley.
Centegra officials are scheduled to discuss the project with the Village Board and village staff at a meeting Thursday night.
The $233 million, 128-bed hospital is expected to break ground in the fall at Centegra’s existing health care campus near Haligus and Reed roads. This project will be an economic boon to Huntley and the entire region. More importantly, it will provide residents who live in the area better access to health care.
