Vehicle flips near Prairie Ridge High School

CRYSTAL LAKE – A vehicle flipped on its side in a crash Tuesday afternoon near Prairie Ridge High School. The driver was not injured, authorities said.

The female driver, an adult and not a student at the school, lost control of the vehicle for unknown reasons, McHenry County sheriff’s deputy Aimee Knop said.

The woman was alone and driving north on Walkup Road between Vermont Trail and Dvorak Drive when her vehicle rolled onto its side and landed in the roadway about 1:45 p.m., Knop said. The crash was not weather-related, she said.

The driver did not require transportation to a hospital, Knop said.
