Better life?
To the Editor:
Re: our immigration problem. This is a complicated matter, and illegal entry into America isn’t just from Mexico. Having said that, I have a problem with senators and TV commentators repeatedly saying the illegal immigrants who cross our borders are coming here for a “better life.”
So that means it’s OK to break our laws? In that case, I’m going to hold up my local bank and expect to get away with it because I just want a “better life” and I need the money to send my children to college.
