Huntley library hosting art exhibit fundraiser

HUNTLEY – The Huntley Area Public Library is hosting its third annual “Think Outside the Box” art exhibit and fundraiser this month.

The library has 24 wooden boxes on display for a silent auction through Feb. 28. The boxes have been painted, stained, jeweled and even knitted. A exhibit gallery is available on the library’s Friends Foundation website, www.huntleylibraryfriends.org.

Silent auction bids begin at $30. Proceeds help fund certain library programs, including prizes for the summer and winter reading programs.

Each box will go toward the highest bidder.
