Great service

To the Editor:

I just want to honor Chicago’s Metra information desk employee Keith Harris at Ogilvie Station. Keith, is about to retire and I wanted to thank him for all his years of service.

Keith really helped out my five friends way back in 1985, just after Bruce Springsteen’s “Born in the USA” concert at Soldier Field. He directed us to a taxi after my friends got stranded, just after midnight, missing the last train out of Chicago. His quick thinking back then not only got us home safe and in time, but also allowed us not to miss our jobs the next day. Even though it might have been an expensive ride home, it taught us all a valuable lesson about being on time.
