WOODSTOCK – A McHenry man faces drug charges after the sheriff’s deputies found more than 500 grams of marijuana in his home, according to the McHenry County Sheriff’s Office.

Michael A. Damore, 26, was charged Wednesday with felony counts of possession of marijuana with the intent to deliver and possession of marijuana.

Deputies acting on a tip that Damore was selling marijuana were granted permission Wednesday to search the home at 1732 Court St. They confiscated about 500 grams of cannabis – estimated to be worth $4,000 – and $10,000 in cash, it said.
