Bail denied for Chicago hotel shooting suspect
CHICAGO — A judge has denied bail for an Evanston man accused of shooting and injuring a fellow guest at a birthday party in Chicago's historic Palmer House Hilton Hotel.
Cook County prosecutors say Brian Martel Miller and several others had been asked to leave the Jan. 20 party after complaints they were being too loud.
Miller is accused of returning a few minutes later with a revolver and shooting a man.
