Kane off to strong start for Blackhawks
By JAY COHEN-
The Associated Press
CHICAGO – It started on opening night, when Patrick Kane and the Blackhawks ruined the Los Angeles Kings’ celebration of their first Stanley Cup title. Then Kane carved up the Phoenix Coyotes for two assists in the second game, and ripped through a six-game road trip for seven goals and three assists.
There have been loads of highlights during Kane’s strong start to the season, but Hawks coach Joel Quenneville likes what they mean altogether.
