Appreciated the concern

To the Editor:

About three months ago, a friend asked me to help pay rent and electric bills. I asked what happened, and how did you get into this mess? My friend told me that the bank account was fraudulently accessed, money was gone, and the bank closed the account. With bill payments overdue and not enough money to pay for them, I decided to call Grafton Township.

Much to my surprise, the township had a number of services available to qualified applicants. This included a list of charitable organizations, free legal services, bus transportation for senior citizens and those individuals with disabilities, and a food pantry.
