Illinois marks the anniversary of Korean War's end

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. — The state of Illinois is commemorating the 60th anniversary this year of the end of the Korean War by making information available each month about the state's involvement in the conflict.

The Illinois Department of Veterans Affairs, along with the Illinois Historic Preservation Agency, is sponsoring the initiative.
