To the Editor:

A huge thank you to all who attended the memorial benefit on Feb. 11 at Twisted Moose in McHenry to celebrate the life of my son, John Geraghty, who died on Jan. 20. My daughter-in-law and four grandchildren appreciate the love and generosity expressed by all who attended. I want to especially thank Tony and Kristen Prater, Jenny Golovin, Michelle Carr, Sheryl Mayhew Smith, and everyone else who organized the event.

My appreciation goes out to Frank Bang and The Secret Stash, Blind Spot, and The Soul Vitamins, who volunteered their musical talents to entertain everyone at the Twisted Moose in McHenry.
