Vote for Nunda

To the Editor:

Spring is in the air, and it’s time to elect the officials who run our local governments. “All politics are local.” So the saying goes – what could be more true? This is the election in which we elect those responsible for our communities, including roads, parks, schools, and community college. These officials also are responsible for spending the bulk of our property taxes.

In Nunda Township, you need to vote twice: the Republican primary on Feb. 26 and the general election on April 9. You may think townships are an extra layer of government, but as long as we have townships, let’s elect qualified individuals to run them.
