Winter weather returns to Chicago area
It's still winter in the Chicago area following spring-like temperatures a day earlier.
The National Weather Services predicts a high of 15 degrees Tuesday, with windchills dropping down to around zero.
Snow and hefty winds are expected to continue throughout the morning, which could cause some travel problems on the roadways during the rush-hour commute.
Will hover between 25 to 35 mph, with gusts of more than 40 mph expected in some areas, according to the NWS. The blowing snow could reduce visibility less than 1 mile and cause drifts on the roadways.
Motorists should allow extra time driving Tuesday.
