Former constituents disappointed in Jackson Jr.
CHICAGO (AP) — Residents in former U.S. Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr.'s Chicago-area district say they're disappointed in how his long-time political career ended.
Jackson pleaded guilty Wednesday in a Washington federal court to misuse of campaign funds. He's accused of spending $750,000 of campaign money for personal use including a designer watch and furs.
The Chicago Democrat resigned in November. Many residents in his district just shook their heads. His district includes neighborhoods on the city's South Side.
