Green Tara Project to host bowling fundraiser

ALGONQUIN – The Green Tara Project, which works to decrease human trafficking, will host its first fundraiser on Sunday.

A family bowling party will be from 1 to 3 p.m. at Brunswick Zone, 1611 S. Randall Road, Algonquin.

Early registration is available online for $20, or the cost at the door is $25. The cost includes two hours of bowling, raffles, prizes, food and drinks.

The Green Tara Project helps by educating at-risk populations, both mentally and physically, through the transformative power of training in a martial art, according to the group’s website.
