Session addresses teen dating violence
WOODSTOCK – Turning Point, McHenry County’s only comprehensive domestic violence agency and shelter, will launch a series of informational evenings starting March 7 with “You Need to Know ... About Teen Dating Violence.”
The event will be at 7 p.m. at McHenry County College, 8900 Route 14, Crystal Lake.
Turning Point children’s counselor Molly Horton will speak about the issue of domestic violence among teenagers, including dating violence and a parent’s role in spotting and stopping abusive teen relationships, and then take questions from the audience.
