'WIM's got talent fundraiser for scholarship

CRYSTAL LAKE – Women in Management’s second annual scholarship fundraiser “WIM’s Got Talent” will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. April 11 at Home State Bank’s Community Room, 611 S. Main St., Crystal Lake.

The annual event provides funds for a $750 scholarship for a graduating high school senior girl who is managing a physical or learning challenge.

The talent-themed evening will feature appetizers, beverages and the hidden talents of its members to bid on during a silent auction. This event is an opportunity to help make a difference to a student yearning for a better life through higher education, and to purchase some unique items and services.

Tickets are $10 in advance or $15 that evening. To attend, become a sponsor, or donate an item to the silent auction, contact Pamela Strelcheck at 815-353-0746 or email pamelastrelcheck@yahoo.com.

Women in Management has been promoting the professionalism of its members through dedication, development, encouragement and mentoring since 1976.
