MCC sets Shipshewana Amish Tour in May
CRYSTAL LAKE – Discover old-fashioned culture, enjoy hearty dining and visit quaint shops with a McHenry County College’s Trips and Tours program adventure to Shipshewana, Ind., on May 14-15.
This two-day tour features shopping at the Midwest’s Largest Outdoor Flea Market with more than 1,000 vendors, and a stay at the Essenhaus Inn in Middlebury. Enjoy in-home Amish dining while conversing with the family and being served a Threshers meal.
Visitors also will tour a historic water-powered flour mill.
