DEKALB, Ill. (AP) — Morris Woods had 18 points on 7-of-10 shooting, grabbed six rebounds and Eastern Illinois held off Northern Illinois for a 59-47 BracketBuster victory Saturday.

Eastern Illinois (9-20) led 27-25 at halftime but used an 11-2 run to begin the second half capped off by Alex Austin's 3-pointer with 16:07 to go and the Panthers never looked back.

The BracketBuster game saw 11 lead changes and five ties throughout the contest. Eastern Illinois led by as many as 13 points in the second half and out-rebounded the Huskies 37-28.
