Man airlifted after serious fall
CARY – A man was taken by helicopter to Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville after a fall, said Lt. Andy Veath of the Cary Fire Protection District.
The man fell and hit his head. It was serious enough for the man to be airlifted to the hospital, Veath said. He did not identify the man.
Firefighters had to take the man from Aptar to Lions Park, where he was transferred to a Flight for Life helicopter, witnesses said.
