MCC to present ‘Our Town’

CRYSTAL LAKE – The Black Box Theatre at McHenry County College will present the 75th anniversary of “Our Town” by Thornton Wilder at 7:30 p.m. Thursday and continues Friday and Saturday, March 14 to 16, and 21 to 23 in the theater, Room D167 at the college, 8900 Route 14.

The story follows the small town of Grover’s Corners through three acts: “Daily Life,” “Love and Marriage” and “Death and Eternity.” Narrated by a stage manager and performed with minimal props and sets, audiences follow the Webb and Gibbs families as their children fall in love, marry and eventually die.

Tickets cost $15 for the public and $10 for all MCC students, faculty/staff, seniors and alumni.
