CRYSTAL LAKE – Family Alliance has added a support group in Crystal Lake for caregivers of those with Alzheimer’s disease and dementia.

The Woodstock-based nonprofit – primarily an active adult wellness center – will hold the meetings at 5:30 p.m. the third Wednesday of each month at Sunrise Assisted Living, 751 E. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake.

Professionally trained therapists lead the support groups in an effort to alleviate the pressures felt by those providing care for people affected by Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of dementia.
