Police searching for robbery suspect

CRYSTAL LAKE - Authorities are seeking information for a robbery that occurred Saturday afternoon a local business.

Police are reporting that at 12:23 p.m., a man in The Cash Store at 1125 South Route 31 robbed an undisclosed amount of cash from the business. No weapon was observed, but employees were threatened, according to the alert sent out by Crystal Lake Police.

The man is is described as an African-American male, 35 years of age, 6' 02", 230 lbs, wearing a gray pull-over hooded sweatshirt, black knit mask, black gloves, carpenter style denim jeans, and tan work boots, according to the alert. The man may be driving a dark-colored Dodge mini-van.
