Cary, CL to host summer job fairs

CARY – Both the Cary Park District and the Crystal Lake Park District are hosting job fairs this month.

The Cary Park District is holding a summer job fair from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the Community Center, 255 Briargate Road, Cary, for adults and teens seeking seasonal positions with the park district.

The Cary Park District is hiring camp counselors, lifeguards, youth sports instructors, park maintenance workers, concession operators, and others, according to a news release from the district.

Jobseekers will be able to meet park district staff, pick up job announcements, fill out job applications and turn in resumes. No other businesses or organizations will be at the event.

The Crystal Lake Park District is holding a teen job fair from 4 to 6 p.m.March 13 at Park Place, 406 W. Woodstock St., Crystal Lake.

Teens will get the opportunity to meet with several potential employers in one place, complete job applications, and interview for positions, according to a news release from the Crystal Lake Park District.
