D-200 accepting senior awards nominations

WOODSTOCK – Members of the public have until March 18 to nominate outstanding District 200 seniors for the district’s end-of-the-year PRIDE awards.

The awards are given in seven categories to seniors of Woodstock High School and Woodstock North High School. Winners are announced at the schools’ respective senior awards ceremonies in May.

Award recipients are selected by committees composed of board members, staff representatives and community members.

The full board approves the committee’s selections.

Awards will be handed out in seven categories at each school: scholarship, personal achievement, vocational excellence, fine arts, athletics, school service and community service.

Nomination forms are available online or at the District 200 Administrative Services Center, 227 W. Judd St., Woodstock. Visit www.woodstockschools.org/school-board/pride-awards to download a form. To receive a form by mail, fax or email, call 815-337-5147.
