SPRING GROVE – The last day to purchase Fourth of July raffle tickets is Saturday.
Proceeds from the fundraiser will go toward Spring Grove’s annual Fourth of July festivities, which were nearly canceled last year.
Only 300 tickets will be sold, Fourth of July Committee President Pat Mazzanti said. Mazzanti also serves as a village trustee, but the committee is an independent nonprofit.
Each ticket costs $100 and can be split among as many people as they want. They are available at Village Hall, 7401 Meyer Road.
Participants have a one-in-20 chance of winning a prize. First prize is $10,000 cash.
The drawing will be at a party and fundraiser about 6 p.m. Saturday at Tommy’s Sports Pub, 2020 Route 12, Spring Grove.
