Police release photos of robbery suspect

CRYSTAL LAKE – Police have released photographs of the man involved in the robbery of the Cash Store in Crystal Lake.

About 12:25 p.m. Saturday, a man in The Cash Store at 1125 South Route 31 robbed an undisclosed amount of cash from the business, police said.

No weapon was observed, but employees were threatened.

The man is described as an African-American male, 35 years old, 6-foot-2, 230 pounds, wearing a gray pull-over hooded sweatshirt, black knit mask, black gloves, carpenter-style denim jeans and tan work boots, according to a police alert.
