Tired of the waste
To the Editor:
It was recently reported that Rand Paul cut $600,000 from his office budget. That huge figure amounted to just 20 percent of his total budget.
What this should tell every American out there is:
1. Office budgets for 535 senators and representatives is beyond bloated.
2. If the federal government can’t control the waste in their own office budgets, what do you think they are doing with the rest of the budget? Why do we want to give them more money?
3. It should be more than apparent that they waste money. Instead of agreeing to one more tax hike, we should all be pitching a fit that they cut more than the 2 percent the sequester would cut.
America needs to wake up and tell everyone in Washington that we are tired of the waste. They need to stop spending our money like it is their money.
