To the Editor:

When I think McHenry, I think Jeff Schaefer. Schaefer holds many titles: son, husband, father, uncle, but when I think of his title, it is friend. That’s why I endorse him for Third Ward alderman in McHenry.

Schaefer is personable and cares. His involvement in his church, school and kids' activities is second to none. You often will see Schaefer at a sporting, community or school event, or even just walking down the streets of McHenry talking to people or discussing their issues. His presence in the community is noticeable and he cares.
