Prosecutors don't have to share informant details
CHICAGO (AP) — Prosecutors don't have to disclose details to defense attorneys about an informant in the case of a Chicago man who'll be sentenced next month for putting what he thought was a bomb near Wrigley Field.
A federal judge made that ruling at a Thursday hearing for Sami Samir Hassoun.
Hassoun's attorneys have made public FBI notes indicating agents feared the informant risked entrapping Hassoun during the investigation.
