CL event puts girls into prom dresses, assists Big Brothers Big Sisters
CRYSTAL LAKE – Many girls will say prom is about the dress.
On Saturday morning, nearly 200 girls lined the hallway outside of McHenry County College’s gymnasium in hopes of finding the ideal gown while giving a little back to the community.
In its sixth year, My Sister’s Dress offers affordable, recycled prom dresses and accessories for girls looking to find beauty on a budget. All proceeds benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of McHenry County.
