Fundraising on track for SG July 4 festivities
SPRING GROVE – The Fourth of July Committee is more than a third of the way to its goal.
A raffle fundraiser generated about $7,700 with part of that going toward expenses and brought the first-place winner about the same, according to the Spring Grove village newsletter.
The event, which draws about 2,000 people, was nearly canceled last year because of a dearth of funds and volunteers.
