Our view: Go bald for great cause
If you wake up Friday or Saturday morning and find that your head is a lot colder than the day before, you’ll know you’ve done a good deed.
That’s because chances are you are one of the hundreds of McHenry County residents who agreed to have all of your hair cut off in honor of St. Baldrick’s Day.
The St. Baldrick’s Foundation is a national charity that supports pediatric cancer research. Volunteers raise money by shaving their heads completely bald for donations.
