Illinois AG hasn't decided on 2014 governor's race
SPRINGFIELD – Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan says she hasn't made up her mind yet on a 2014 gubernatorial run.
Madigan told reporters Wednesday that she really enjoys her current job. She said she doesn't have a timeline for when she'll make her decision.
If Madigan enters the race, it could prove a difficult Democratic primary for Gov. Pat Quinn, who said he'll seek re-election. Former White House chief of staff Bill Daley is also weighing a run. Several Republicans, including Congressman Aaron Schock and state Treasurer Dan Rutherford, are also considering it.
