Life coach to speak to students at D-C today

CARPENTERSVILLE – The Dundee-Crown AVID program will present Ernesto Mejia, a nationally recognized life coach and motivational speaker, during two workshops Wednesday at Dundee-Crown High School. 

As a Latino in America, Mejia has learned to navigate and live in two worlds and cultures. 

Mejia speaks on the importance of finding the strength and confidence to follow one’s dreams. His is a message of motivation and inspiration for all, and his life is an example of the American dream.

The first workshop, during the school day, is for AVID students (first-generation college-going students). 

Mejia’s keynote address will be at 7 p.m. in the auditorium at Dundee-Crown, 1500 Kings Road, Carpentersville.
