Centegra giving away free colorectal cancer test kits

McHENRY – Centegra Health System recognizes March as National Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month. During March, Centegra will offer free test kits that help to detect the disease.

Centegra Health System’s Get Checked! Program will distribute free fecal occult blood kits to check for hidden blood in the stool. No registration is required; interested participants may drop by to collect the kit Monday through March 29 as follows:

• 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays and 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sundays at the guest services desk at Centegra Hospital – McHenry, 4201 Medical Center Drive.
